We built our dream home high on a hill overlooking the city lights and beyond.. We had said our wedding vows on the empty lot a year before. It became a gathering place for friends and family for years. Especially each Christmas Eve where we would gather together and celebrate Chirstmas.As years passed new people were added to the annual celebration. Our five children married and new spouses and grandchildren were added to the fold. It was a magical time when everything seemed possible. We have nothing but good memories there. Each Christmas, we wished for a white Christmas but since we lived in Southern California, that was not going to happen.So I painted our wish. This is my rendition of Christmas Eve in our dreamhome in the snow. Now we live in Washington, where we have a white Christmas almost every year. Dreams do come true. Welcome to my Gallery. My name is Juliette Becker. I am an artist, wife,mother of five, grandmother, and psychologist. And a proud native of California, recently retired to beautiful Gig Harbor, Washington. My art background is multifaceted. In my early years, my concentration was in the field of music. I was a classical pianist and trained, performing opera singer. As I progressed and my life changed, I immersed myself into the art world and added oil painting to my skills.
